Shaina Helm was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida where she was trained in classical and lyrical ballet for nine years. She studied visual art in the Booker High School visual and performing arts magnet program, and in 2015 she graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and psychology.
Throughout her artistic career Shaina Helm has received awards and prizes for her artwork in juried art shows, and has had her work donated and auctioned for charitable organizations. She has exhibited work in galleries throughout Florida and has also exhibited in charity art galas including the NYC Tata Gala, the Dance Theatre of Bradenton, Art for Haiti, and others. She has been commissioned to create artwork for collectors across the country, and has donated artwork and designed logos for entities including Booker High School’s VPA Dance program, music by Frost & Ross, All Children’s Respiratory Team, and more.
Shaina Helm is currently working as a certified behavior assistant with Positive Behavior Support Corporation, implementing behavioral intervention plans with children on the autism spectrum.
